Installation Instructions
The type of bracket on the left is found on the round convex mirrors up to 18 inches and the 12x18 inch Roundtangular.

Notes:

1. Have a person hold the mirror in the position you feel it will work best for you and mark the location for the screws.

2. Remove the wall mounting bracket from the swivel.

3. Fasten the wall mounting bracket to the wall with an appropriate screw for the material you are mounting to.

4. Loosen the three screws around the ball socket enough so you can move the shaft.

5. Re-attach the swivel shaft to the wall bracket using the nut from step 2.

6. Adjust the mirror to the angle you feel is best. (If the mirror does not stay in place gently tighten the screws around the ball swivel until it holds the position.) After you feel the mirror is adjusted at the appropriate angle, tighten the three screws enough so it does not easily move.

All Larger size mirrors will have a bracket see in the picture to the right.

Follow the same instructions as above.

The Instruction below is for the 26 inch mirror. For the larger mirrors it is difficult to hold the mirror while marking the holes so there is a little more information to help.

26 inch round convex mirror.

  Mounting:

  1. Find the position you want to mount the mirror and place a mark 11 5/8 inches down from the top of the mirror.

  2. For mounting in wood, use a ¼ inch or 5/16 inch by 2-inch screw. For concrete, you will need to use led inserts or cement anchor bolts able to hold 25 to 50 pounds of outward force. It is recommended that you use an impact drill to drill a clean hole the exact size recommended for the type of anchor being used. The top hole will be 11 5/8 inches below the top edge of the mirror. The second hole is 2 7/8 inches below the first hole. (It is best to mark the location of the second hole after the first one is drilled.

  3. Fasten the mounting bracket to the mounting surface (wall, post etc) using the type of fastener selected from step 2. The mounting bracket should feel tight when gently tested for movement. If there is movement, try placing a washer on the fastening screw or bolt, between the bracket and the surface you are mounting the bracket onto.

  4. Remove the nut from the swivel mount and loosen the three screws around the swivel ball to allow the swivel to be moved.

  5. Pick up the mirror and insert the swivel mount (threaded portion) into the 3/8-inch hole in the front of the mounting bracket. Use the nut you removed in step 4 to tighten the swivel to the bracket. (Note: This step can be done with one person but is much easier when a person holds the mirror and another person places the nut on the swivel shaft.)

  6. Tilt the mirror into the desired position and tighten the three screws around swivel ball.

Additional Notes. For mirrors being mounted in a corner or from a ceiling, you may need to order the 14” (RH100) or 26” (RH200) extension bracket to hold the mirror farther away from the mounting surface.
